Artist Taliesin Wintle has won the Look Again Prize in the Hospitable Environment 2025 Emerging Sussex Young Artists Open Call. As part of this recognition, Tal's work has been selected for a public exhibition on a billboard in Newhaven town centre and it’s now up for all to see!

Installed on Marshall’s Lane, Newhaven, the billboard brings the spirit of Tal's work directly into the public realm. It’s a powerful example of what Emerging Sussex exhibition is all about: supporting bold, thoughtful, and ambitious work by emerging artists, and creating opportunities for that work to be seen, shared, and encountered beyond gallery walls.

We’re incredibly proud to see an artist from the Emerging Sussex exhibition celebrated in this way, and to witness their practice reaching new audiences in the heart of Newhaven town.

Huge congratulations to Tal, and sincere thanks to Look Again for championing emerging talent and enabling meaningful, visible platforms for contemporary art.
If you’re in Newhaven this January, make sure you go and see it in person and join us in celebrating the artists shaping Sussex’s creative future.
